The construction of the crossbow is quite good. Despite the low price of the item, it does not appear to be cheaply made. The draw of this bow is a bit heavy, but despite this heaviness the rope cocking device helps to maximize your leverage, which almost cuts the weight in half. The safety can then be disengaged from either the right or left side.
The trigger on the crossbow is very nice and is better than even some triggers on rifles. There are not a lot of bells and whistles that come with this crossbow and it is very easy to use. Some hunters have complained that it does not shoot extremely straight, but that can be adjusted rather easily.
